CARRIS

CARRIS is a public transport comany founded on the 18th september 1872 that operates Lisbon's buses, trams and funiculars.

The company has 2112 employees, 1350 drivers and 138 tram drivers that ensure the circulation of a fleet composed of 603 buses, 48 trams, 3 funiculars and 1 elevator.

CARRIS collaborated in the definitions of the requirements for the design of the ExpoLIS system.

 


  

 

CCDR-LVT

Lisbon and Tagus Valley Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR-LVT) ensures the coordination of the several regional sectoral policies and the implementation of the environmental policies. Furthermore, CCRD-LVT also conducts the mangement of air quality monitoring stations and the management and evaluation of air quality in Lisbon, ensuring its quality.

CCDR-LVT collaborated in the quality control of the ExpoLIS system by giving access to the air quality data generated in the Lisbon air quality monitoring stations.

 

 

Morevover, Dr. Lidia Morawska from the International Laboratory for Air Quality and Health, Queensland University of Technology, Austraulia was the project consultant.
